IoT cellular technologies take environmental monitoring by a storm: A European success story for leak detection

A case study from Gutermann AG – a leading manufacturer of acoustic leak detection technology and intelligent water loss solutions – will be presented at the conference with the advantages of the latest LTE-enabled IoT data transmission technology NB-IoT over traditional data transmission methods for environmental monitoring systems, including fixed network water leak detection.

It will describe the fast development in coverage and pricing of networks with special focus on Europe as geography. And it will also show several customer examples of successful rollouts across Europe and their fast return on investment and present an outlook of what’s to come.
